On to a few of the changes and updates for 2025!
  1. May 6th will be our Swing Into Spring mixer, stay tuned for details. Play will begin May 13th, weather permitting, with 16 weeks of golf.
  2. Non-members will receive a $50 gift card with their entry, useable in the restaurant or pro shop.
  3. Handicap System – I am in the process of sourcing a handicap solution for all leagues, and will coordinate this with the Ladies Section. If it works out for the games, my hope is that we can provide this to all players.
  4. Demo Days – There has been interest both from golfers and from equipment reps to hold demo days, and I will be coordinating with suppliers on this. As of right now it looks like Titleist, TaylorMade, and Cobra will be scheduled, and I am discussing with Ping. I am hoping that I can offer multiple options through the year, it will be up to rep schedules as well. It is likely that we will need a certain number of booked fittings for those days, but with the additional option of having drop ins to try things out.  As I have more detail on this it will be communicated.
  5. 128 Player Limit – This year, we will be accepting up to 128 golfers for league play. We will be using all 18 holes,although still only playing 9 holes each week. Groups will be spread out, and will move back and forth between the Front 9 and Back 9.
A couple requests when filling out the form this year:
  • Download the form and rename to “2025 Ladies League FIRST NAME LAST NAME”.
  • When filling out the fields, you should be able to type the info and click on the fee selections. The Total field is not calculated automatically, so that will need to be added.
  • Open a new email to mdern@selkirkgolfcourse.com and attach the renamed PDF.
  • If you want to pay either by phone or in person, please still complete the form but leave the credit card information blank. When sending it back to me, please indicate your preference and I will make arrangements with you.
  • If you are splitting the season with another player, please reach out to me directly by email and we will accommodate this.

 

Thursday Ladies Morning

Selkirk Ladies organize every Thursday morning with tee times from 800 to 830am.  The group will play May 9th to September 12th for the 2024 Season.

Groups, games, and prizing are organized by the Ladies Section each week.

Ladies Nassau

The Ladies’ Nassau Golf League was founded in 1963 with the purpose of the league to foster competitive golf among teams and players before the start of regular Manitoba Golf Association tournaments and promote friendly rivalry and good fellowship among the competing clubs.

The League runs through the early months of the season on Monday evenings.
